Good morning,

I'm attempting to set up webforwarding for my naked domain on 123reg. Everything works fine with the CNAME record set up, however, when I attempted to forward the site name to the www. site it removes the CNAME record and breaks the site.

Have you guys seen this problem while using 123reg before, or do you have any suggestions on what I could try out without using the second solution from the help page regarding naked domains?

We have not had anyone tell us about an issue like that. You can try using NakedSSL, which is also suggested on the Naked Domain help page.
