BBS or Forum for my pyanywhere site?

I came across nodebb recently and it is really fast and has a python client, pynodebb, but of course it is written in JS. What forum software do you all recommend? ty!

For the PythonAnwyhere forums we ended up rolling our own! Not sure what other people have tried?
