Hi,

After following the instructions on how to create a site I now have 2 web apps that basically do the same thing. I have my original one that is myusername.pythonanywhere.com and then I have the web app that is www.carcostcalculator.ca. Can I delete myusername.pythonanywhere.com without it killing my website as well? It seems that I should, but I thought I should check.

Yes when you delete your webapp, it does not delete the source code.

How do you delete a web app?

there is a red button at the bottom of the webapp tab to delete it.

hey i configured my webapp incorrectly the first time and would like to start over it seems that when clicking the delete button it doesnt delete the files accoicated to it. do i have to re create a SSH key? or is the original one stay in use. same github repo im just trying to redo the configuration when connecting and deploying my app.

Deleting the web app does not delete the files. You can delete the files yourself, if you want to. If the SSH key is one of the files that you delete, then you will need to recreate it.
