Hi, I'm testing pythonanywhere with a small project I developed in web2py.

I uploaded it and when I tried to run it, I get the famous connection forbidden, etc.

A quick google search showed me this thread https://www.pythonanywhere.com/forums/topic/865/, so now, I understand that the sites I need to get access to need to be whitelisted first and must have a free api.

This is the site/api I'm trying to use in my app: https://yts.re/api

I'd be really greatful if you could whitelist this site so my app can work!

I can't access that site at the moment -- over HTTPS it just fails to connect, and over HTTP I get an error saying "Error - site blocked".

That's weird, I'm able to access the site normally over HTTPS and HTTP!

Hm, I tried adding it to our proxy as an experiment, and it seems the SSL connection isn't working properly over our proxy, so I don't think it's going to work. You're welcome to give it a go now if you like, but I think this might be one of those sites whose HTTPS won't work in our environment...
