Resource usage with web and tasks

Probably a silly question, but...

If I have Tasks running that are resource intensive, will this slow down my Web apps? Or are they handled differently by the PA backend?

Not a silly question at all :-)

It's all handled differently right now -- there might be some changes to that in the future when we support asynchronous websites (which may wind up running as always-on tasks) but right now, tasks and websites run on completely different servers.
