No, it will probably not work on PythonAnywhere.

Not sure I understand. You said in Jan '19 that pythonanywhere does not support flask-socketio. Now you're saying "it will probably not work." Why "probably" if you know you don't support sockets?

Fair enough, the "probably" was a mistake. It definitely will not work.

We have a roadmap for that, but no timeline.
