Always-on task state "starting" for hours

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a always-on task but it's state is "starting" for hours now. What does this mean? Where can I find errors for the always-on tasks?

The task log just says " Task preparing to start"

got it, had to specify which version of python to use, I tried python3 instead of python3.6 for example

OK -- did it eventually log something that clarified what the problem was?
