square API needs to be whitelisted

hello, when I try to hit the squreup API I am getting this error:

ProxyError('Cannot connect to proxy.', OSError('Tunnel connection failed: 403 Forbidden'))

After looking at other forum posts it seems as though this domain needs to be whitelisted.

Could you give us a link to some documentation on squareup.com saying that https://connect.squareup.com/ is an official API?
