unable to connect to mysql using mysqlworkbench

do I need any special settings or certificates?

was a temporary issue... I am able to connect now...

Great, glad it's working now! Did you work out what was causing it? One possibility -- if you enter the wrong password multiple times when using an SSH tunnel, your IP can get blocked for a while by our SSH system.
