I had problems with upgrading web2py to the lastest version with my app. Apparently they made some changes which forces me to move files, but even when I do that it still all breaks down.

So I tried to make a new clean install without my app and upgrade it to the latest version. That breaks too, so it seems like it would be great if PythonAnywhere could upgrade to latest version and put a message on the message board and stick it on the top that new installs uses 2.6.4 which breaks from 2.5.x versions (and how to solve it).

That's definitely odd. If you download the latest version and replace your old web2py version then it should all work fine.

The next release of PythonAnywhere will use web2py Version 2.6.4-stable+timestamp.2013.09.22.01.43.37 for new web apps (we won't upgrade old ones automatically).
