My always-on task has been stuck in "Stopping" state for over 2 hours and cannot be restarted. The task log (alwayson-log-266567.log) contains only one line: "2026-08-14 18:54:33 - Task preparing to start" — no Python output at all. The same script runs fine from a Bash console, so this is not a code error. My other always-on task (figurky bot) works normally. Please reset the stuck task. Username: TechStart
Having the same issues
I'm also having issues with starting and stopping tasks. They just hang for hours (when normally it might take 5 minutes to stop, start, or restart). Also, when trying to diagnose, the normally well-functioning "Running tasks" list hangs at "Loading processes..." after pressing the "Fetch process list button".
I think there may be a possible PythonAnywhere DNS/network outage. I'm now getting a bunch of "NameResolutionError ... Temporary failure in name resolution / Name or service not known" errors when a task finally runs.
I'm not seeing that in your current logs
