All of my Databases are Missing

All of my sites are down, then we checked the database and all our databases are missing.

Thanks for reporting -- we're investigating the issue right now. Your databases have been restored from a yesterday's snapshot. Sorry for the inconvenience!

That's a bit scary. Is there anyway as a PA user we can ensure that doesn't happen to our production apps?

No, it was an issue with one of the database servers. We keep daily backups to restore from
