502 Errors - Can't reload Web App

Hi All,

I'm getting a lot of 502 errors when trying to access my api hosted on PythonAnywhere externally.

I tried reloading the web app a couple times but just get an error message.

Anyone experiencing a similar issue or know a fix?

I haven't updated the code for the web app recently nor was I experiencing similar issues before today.

Came on here to see if I was the only one. My users and i have observed the same problem.Maybe python anywhere is experiencing an issue.

We had an issue with one of our web servers yesterday. It has been resolved and your web apps should be working again

I’m still seeing intermittent 502 errors today on www.bingebuddy.co.uk.

Cloudflare shows: Ray ID: a0e46291cfca93f9 Time: 2026-06-19 17:52:00 UTC Cloudflare location: London Error: Host Error

I checked my PythonAnywhere access/server/error logs around that exact time and I don’t see any app crash, traceback, worker timeout, or slow request. The surrounding requests are all 200s with very low response times.

Could you check whether the issue is still affecting the web server my app is on?

Yep, I'm still experiencing the issues today, doesn't seem to be fully fixed yet.

It would be great to have a proper status page so we can quickly see if the problem is with the service. I spent quite some time since yesterday trying to understand where it was coming from assuming it was on my side...

I second the status page

We haven't had any issues with the web servers since Glenn's reply -- please check your web app logs to see if the issue is not related to lack of web workers / views not being processed efficiently.

We've had this issue on one of our servers on June 18 and 19. Today we're also experiencing the same issue, now on this account.

What kind of issues?
