Hello,

My custom domain web app (zeezton.cl) suddenly stopped working today and now shows the default “Coming Soon” PythonAnywhere page.

When I checked my account, it appears to have been downgraded to the Beginner/free plan automatically, even though I have several successful $5 monthly invoices.

I also noticed a new invoice entry showing “-5 USD”, which is confusing.

As a result:

• my custom domain web app was disabled,
• only zeezton.pythonanywhere.com remains active,
• and my domain zeezton.cl no longer loads my Django project.

Could you please help me understand:

• why the account was downgraded,
• what the “-5 USD” invoice means,
• and how I can restore my custom domain web app?

Thank you. I would appreciate any help regarding this issue.

The account was downgraded because payments failed. We sent multiple emails warning of the failures and the downgrade. The credit note is to cancel the invoice for which the payments failed. You will need to upgrade your account again and re-enable the web app.
