is it possible to increase the number of always on tasks? I'm already using 20, but can I increase that number?

You can increase number of always-on tasks on your Account page (it's a paid feature). But I have suspicion you are actually talking about scheduled tasks which do have default limit of 20 for paid accounts. If that's the case, please contact us via form above (Contact Support) and request additional scheduled tasks for your account.
