sites down, domains expired?

Hello, been seeing connection errors on all 4 of my sites as well as the pythonanywhere home page. 'NameCheap' asking us to create a new domain!! All 4 of my sites are going up and down every few minutes for the last hour or so. anything you are actively working on?

me also !

Hello,

I find this situation quite concerning and not very professional. I am running a SaaS application that operates 24/7, and even a 5-minute disruption has a significant impact on my business and my clients.

I would like to understand whether these recurring issues are temporary or if this level of instability is to be expected on your platform. It is important for me to rely on a stable and consistent service.

Could you please clarify the situation and advise on how this can be resolved?

Thank you for your attention.

Me too! Urgent.

Me too please help

Please help, this is becoming recurring, I had this issue yesterday and also today

@pythonanywhere posted on X 20h ago (2026-03-24 15:40Z) that their domain had expired and they immediately renewed. Unfortunately in that short period the domain was technically up for grabs and so NameCheap jumped onto it. Some nameservers still show that the SOA is dns101.registrar-servers.com. hostmaster.parklogic.com. All the public DNS servers I have tried resolve to the correct PA sites.

Some other DNS servers still have the stale parked domain resolution. That includes the one I'm currently connected to (EE mobile in the UK). I cannot see my site nor blog.pythonanywhere.com though www.pythonanywhere.com is working.

AFAIK we can do little but wait for the DNS changes to propagate. Admins of the downstream servers can pull changes manually but I think that there is no way to push from upstream.

Clients can work around this if they use a different DNS server. That is a big ask especially for customers of businesses hosting on PA.

It looks like it's back to normal.

Agreed. I've reverted my manual DNS server setting to automatic and my site can be accessed.

Thanks for confirming!
