Pretty sure this is pointless but let's see..
I created an ai agent/inventory management system with groks help over a period of around 48 hours in total. This is my first time coding and was extremely proud of the work I did and the outcome.
I was actually sitting with my friend going through the process of setting it up for him in his logistics factory and selling it to him.
I stupidly mixed gemini and grok up when I tried to edit the main banner and main colours etc. I built it by adding a change with the appropriate code and re pasting the entire code every time, plus my edit.
As i thought I was using gemini and asked it to carefully check that it has he entire code before jt edit and being assured multiple times yes, and after thinking i have the chat from the conversations past many copies of the progressing growing code to fall back on, I.went ahead and.posted this and saved it to check the changes live
And now.of course, it is not the full code, but what gemini thinks is the full code without all my work.with grok. And of course ive deleted my history etc which show.has deleted all of my previous grok work.
So im lefft with a fragment of.the complex system I created. Gemini told me there should be a backup file of the same same name as my flask app.py file followed with a ~ symbol as the backup for rhe last most recent copy I used.
But I don't see anything in the way of a backup, and my chats with grok are gone somehow when all I did was delete my browsing.history and what I thought were cookies.
I'm the idiot for not backing it up, something which my experience in life is enough of an excuse to know better. I've just had so much on my plate with trying to create this as my business finally at 39 years old, be legal carer to my Mum with her worsening emphysema, long hours working for my mates logistics company ( who was so impressed with what I had done he was going to spend thousands on it and was discussing implementation, working til AM most nights on both things, and my own severe anxiety and depression that somehow my numbskull couldn't think to create a simple back up of the hundred pages or more of code my illiterate ass somehow willed into existence through ai.
I fear I know it is gone and nothing I can do, but could someone pls just confirm that for me please.
Many thanks in advance.
