I have a daily task that runs at 5:00UTC. Last night it took ~45mins, usually less than 5mins. The web app was not responding at all later in the morning. Restarting did not fix the problem, though in fact it is running, just very slowly.

the oxcamne site is still running at a snail's pace
still slow. There is little Oxcamne traffic today, could there be another account sharing a server that is under attack?
Looks like we had a problem with one of our machines. Sorry for that. Is it ok now?
No, the oxcamne web app is still running really, really slow. The Pythonanywhere console is also really slow, and the overnight daily_maintenance task doesn't seem to have run at all (there's nothing in the task log, and it didn't generate the database backup).

I agree everything is running really slowly today. Even posting this was a chore.
The problem from yesterday spilled into today, but we believe that we have it solved now.
It seems a bit better, but is still way slower than normal.
David
I completely agree, it is better but way slower than before.
Please resolve this urgently
Still extremely slow. One measure of this is my daily_maintenance task which runs at 05:00UTC. It scans the database, issues renewal reminders etc., and creates a backup of the database. From 9/1-9/28 it took 250 +/- 5 seconds 9/29 277 secs - first sign of trouble 9/30 282 secs 10/1 1,984 secs 10/2 task didn't run 10/3 880 secs. Real time response on the web is affected correspondingly.
As a sign note, my test system (on a free PA account) is unaffected. I have no numbers as it doesn't run the daily_maintenance task.
We are still experimenting with finding the right balance to maintain the service health and provide reasonable file write speeds. It may be some time before we settle on a good balance.
All I can say is that this feels like system tuning using a meat axe!

How many days it takes to resolve
I'm also having trouble updating a package, never had issues. Trying several workarounds like copying directly into the packages folder. Maybe I'm not patient enough.
There were some issues with one of our file servers which should be resolved now.
Thank you for your patience.
