Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience dealing with unresolved billing/account issues on PythonAnywhere?
I paid $14.52 USD on April 30th, 2025, for the Web Dev plan, but my account is still restricted as if I were on the Hacker plan:
- 2,000 CPU-seconds/day
- 3 GB of storage (which does not match any public plan)
- Only 1 web app
I’ve contacted support multiple times via: - glenn@pythonanywhere.com (Glenn Jones) - support@pythonanywhere.com - liveusercare@pythonanywhere.com
I’ve provided full bank statements, payment confirmation, and dashboard screenshots, but I keep receiving the same message:
"You seem to have misread the pricing"
...and a recommendation to upgrade to the Startup plan ($99/month), which is unrelated.
This issue has persisted for over 9 days now without resolution.
If anyone here has suggestions on how to escalate or resolve such billing/account plan mismatch issues, I would sincerely appreciate your advice.
