Question regarding incorrect account plan despite payment

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience dealing with unresolved billing/account issues on PythonAnywhere?

I paid $14.52 USD on April 30th, 2025, for the Web Dev plan, but my account is still restricted as if I were on the Hacker plan:

  • 2,000 CPU-seconds/day
  • 3 GB of storage (which does not match any public plan)
  • Only 1 web app

I’ve contacted support multiple times via: - glenn@pythonanywhere.com (Glenn Jones) - support@pythonanywhere.com - liveusercare@pythonanywhere.com

I’ve provided full bank statements, payment confirmation, and dashboard screenshots, but I keep receiving the same message:

"You seem to have misread the pricing"
...and a recommendation to upgrade to the Startup plan ($99/month), which is unrelated.

This issue has persisted for over 9 days now without resolution.

If anyone here has suggestions on how to escalate or resolve such billing/account plan mismatch issues, I would sincerely appreciate your advice.

On the account you wrote this post from, there's only payment for extended Hacker plan (US$5.50 per month). By looking at the conversations in the mailing, I see the charge for US$14.52 was on a different account (not NCAPS), but it was not for the Web Dev plan, but for the Hacker with Postgres database.
