1Password login issue

This is a low-priority issue, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices this, at least on Chrome on Windows.

It looks like some client code on your login page is causing 1Password to double-up on the password-filling.

Could you describe the issue more precisely? Did you try different browsers and or browsers with other extensions turned off?

I've tried with both Chrome and Microsoft Edge, both on Windows 11 Pro.

If I try to get 1Password to fill in the password, it will double up the password in the password field - e.g. "TestPassword" would be filled as "TestPasswordTestPassword".

PythonAnywhere is the only website where I have this issue with 1Password.

That's really weird! We don't have any client code on our login page that I am aware of (and I don't think it's changed for a long time). And I just logged in using 1Password and didn't see what you're seeing. I'm on a Mac, however, so perhaps that's the difference.

Just to check -- are you using the auto-fill thing, where when you click on the "username" input field it pops up a list of matching credentials for you to select from?

I'm using both the auto-fill pop-up over the login fields and the auto-fill button within the extension modal - both fill the password twice.

It works fine on Safari on my iPhone with the 1Password integration, but I don't have a Mac I can try it on.

Let me see if anyone on the team here has a Windows machine we can try to reproduce this on.

I have tested 1password on Windows with our login page and it works fine. I'm not sure what would be causing the issue on your machine, but it is not about the login page.
