Backup is secure?

Hi! I was reading that if i want to backup my database, that file will going to my "File Section", where i have projects uploaded. So, that "space" (/home/randomusername... etc) is safe? I dont know if you can understand me. Sorry my english, im spanish. Para los españoles basicamente pregunto si subir el backup a la parte donde vemos los archivos que tenemos subidos es seguro.

If you read https://help.pythonanywhere.com/pages/MySQLBackupRestore/ , one line say "The db-backup.sql file will then be available in your home folder (via the Files tab), where you can download it to a safe place" safe place?¿?

Thank you!

You can get it out of PythonAnywhere by downloading it if you want.

Yes i know it, but i want automate it. My question its because i dont understand some things, It's not because I'm saying your app is insecure. That "file section" its what people call "the server" right? By navegator people cant access, im right?

You can create a scheduled task that creates a backup and uploads it somewhere. What do you mean by "navigator" and who are "people" in that context?

navigator like google chrome firefox etc.. people like people experimenting skills searching for vulnerabilities in websites. I will found information about how do that because i dont know why but i try and fall making email backup. So is file section "the server" ? thanks!

Generally the content stored on your PythonAnywhere account is as secure as the access to the account is. So if you have secure credentials, you should be fine. You can have a look at this help page for more details.

thank you! have good day
