please support! Help us!

Now my app is working but what was problem in? Why did it so long be down?

We've been having problems with the storage server where all of your accounts' files are located. We have a partial mitigation in place, but there will still be times when your file access will be too slow. Would you like us to migrate your account to a different file server? The process we have in place to do that works well, except that any forum posts you have made in the past will have a username like "deleted-user-1234" associated with them, and if you have a paid account, or have had one in the past, you would not be able to download your past invoices from the "Account" page (though we would be able to provide them on request).

If you'd like to go ahead with this, it's best to coordinate it over email: drop us a line (including your username, as it's shown underneath your post above) at support@pythonanywhere.com.

Hi there, I sent two emails to support@pythonanywhere.com titled "Account Migration to Different Server" last Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure if you received them, at any rate there's been no response in 3 business days so I figured I should post here. Can you go forward with a file migration for this account when you get a chance (account name is the same as in the forums)? I'm ok with the aforementioned consequences, saved all invoices.

Much appreciated!

I'm sorry about that, I'm not sure how that happened! I have replied to your email now.
