I've got a website on Pythonanywhere, but the website won't load.

The error log on python anywhere is also empty. Please help!

It looks like your web app is now generating an unhandled error page, which does show the traceback in the error log. Check your error log now.

Thanks for letting us know! It looks like after our system maintenance this morning, some SQLite databases were stuck in a "locked" state where processes would hang when they tried to access them. We just restarted the file locking service on the file server associated with your account, and your site is up and running now, so we think that was probably the cause of the issues you were seeing.

Mines also showing the same but theres not error in errorlog

Okay FYI that does not fix it, I need help from the admins here please as my entire app utilizies sqlite heavily. I knew I should have migrated to MySQL lol

Investigating, will post back as soon as we have any updates.

Just to keep everyone in the loop -- pretty much every SQLite database that was having problems is working fine after the restart of the file locking service; however, it looks like there are a few that still are not, and that's what we're digging into.

Hey giles, yes my webapps are running great again now, thank you very much for fixing it. I guess I should migrate to MySQL asap lol

I have another (paid site) with the same problem... I resolved the problem there by doing this:

disable the app download my SQLITE database to local upload it to PA again reload the app

That would work! The issue is that the specific SQLite file gets locked on the file server, and then cannot be unlocked. We're fixing it by restarting the locking service, but that doesn't seem to always work. We think we have a solution, but it involves rebooting storage servers, which we have to do one-by-one, so it's taking a bit of time, so @stillhaveit's solution is a quick way to work around the issue, because by uploading the file again, you're making it look like a new, unlocked file from the locking service's perspective.

Hello! I have the same problem here. When I woke up this morning, all my web apps stopped working. I'm using Django Rest, and even the /admin page isn't working.

I really don't know what's happening.

I'm having the same problem. The web app doesn't load and I can't access the database via the console as well. Logs do not open and returns 500.

@enmeiryuu4tls -- looks like your site has been up and running for some time. Is it giving a 504 on all pages? This might be a different problem.
