Less secure app option is unavailable

Hi There. Since Google has made the "Less Secure App Option" uneditable. Why procedures should I use to enable Python to access my Gmail account?

It looks like Google is disabling Less Secure Apps. They suggest using an app password: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/185833?hl=en-GB#app-passwords
