Dear Team,

the console emulator has problems recognizing special characters I type in; most importantly these do not work:

• "[" "]" - I get them by pressing ALT("option" on Mac)-5 or ALT-6

I'm on a Macbook Pro with a german QWERTZ layout.

It's a known issue with German keyboards on Macs -- we enabled an experimental console for you, please kill all existing ones, start a new one and check if the issue persists.
