After ssh login I get: "PTY allocation request failed on channel 0"

Bash kind of works, but I get no prompt. I also can't run Python, or nano, or vim.

Thanks for letting us know. I can't see any problems with any of the console servers at the moment -- is it still happening for you? If so, could you check which console server it's happening for you on? It should display that just as you start the console, in the bottom left, just before it displays "Loading console..."

Doesn't flash anything, just the prompt. Console # is 1772700 I just "shared" with support@pa in case it helps

Thanks. We think it was a brief problem on one of the console servers (specifically, consoles-1) last night; it went wrong and didn't alert us, but then managed to fix itself sometime mid-morning. Investigations underway...
