FATAL: remaining connection slots are reserved for non-replication superuser connections

I recived this error: FATAL: remaining connection slots are reserved for non-replication superuser connections I think the server need to be restarted. Can you do this for me? Thanks!

We have restarted your postgres server.

I am having the same issue right now. remaining connection slots are reserved for non-replication superuser connections. Please i need urgent assistance.

It's probably a good idea for you to first set the number of connections for your postgres instance then, when we restart it, you will have more. Also ensure that you are properly managing your connections so that you're not continually creating new ones without closing the old ones. Otherwise, you'll just bump into this again.

How many connections does it support by default.

I have increased the max connections to 500, please restart it asap. please

By default it's 20.

Ok. please just restart it now. We are losing transactions badly. can we have away to restart it ourselves just in case.

It should be restarted by now.

ok Thankyou

No problem.
