How to upgrade R version to 3.6

I have a library 

    regclass

which require R>=3.6. I am unable to do that in my bash console.

We do not have a more recent version of R than 3.2.3 installed on PythonAnywhere.

why is taking PythonAnywhere for ever to upgrade their R version? This seems annoying !! We are in 2021 and we are still with R 3.2.3 version of 2015 ?

R will be upgraded to 3.6 in the next system image (released sooner than later this year).
