Add API to whitelist - suggestion

Hi,

I'd like to connect to an API but it should be in your whitelist in order for it to work. Could you please have a look and see if you can add it to the whitelist?

API documentation: https://www.semrush.com/api-documentation/

Looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks, A.

No problem, I've added api.semrush.com to the whitelist just now. It may take up to five minutes to become available to all of our servers, but if you have any problems after that time then let us know.

Thanks a lot! :)

No problem!

Hi, giles. Can you please add in whitelist this site https://www.pexels.com

Looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks in advance.

Send us a link to the API documentation and we'll consider it for the whitelist.

github:

https://github.com/AguilarLagunasArturo/pexels-api

site:

https://www.pexels.com

We can whitelist sites if they are an official public API; that looks more like an unofficial API created by a third party. If you can give us a link to API documentation on a subdomain of pexels.com, then we may be able to whitelist it.

Hey i am getting error in accessing flipkart.com through request https://seller.flipkart.com/api-docs/ This is api documentation Please add Flipkart.com to ur whitelist

Thanks

okay, I've added geo.ipify.org to the whitelist for you.

Hi conrad can you add https://www.pexels.com to whitelist?

Documentation https://www.pexels.com/api/documentation/

That documentation link takes me to a login page -- is there any public documentation? BTW api.pexels.com is already whitelisted.

Hi giles. When I try to get a picture(with and without proxies) from a link with an images.pexels.com I have this error (for example link ----> https://images.pexels.com/photos/112460/pexels-photo-112460.jpeg):

requests.exceptions.ProxyError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='images.pexels.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /pho tos/112460/pexels-photo-112460.jpeg (Caused by ProxyError('Cannot connect to proxy.', OSError('Tunnel connection failed: 403 Forbidden')))

please can you add images.pexels.com to whitelist?

Can you point us to where images.pexels.com is listed as an api endpoint? Otherwise you will have to upgrade your account.

Hi conrad. I get a link to an image from api.pexels.com, but when I try to get a picture with requests(with and without proxies) I have this error:

requests.exceptions.ProxyError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='images.pexels.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /photos/112460/pexels-photo-112460.jpeg (Caused by ProxyError('Cannot connect to proxy.', OSError('Tunnel connection failed: 403 Forbidden')))

please can you add images.pexels.com to whitelist?

Thank you for taking your precious time to my question.

Sure, understood, but we need some indication that the host images.pexels.com is part of the official API -- it should be mentioned in the API documentation somewhere, so if you send us a link to that part of the docs, we can whitelist it.

Hi giles. You can go to the site www.pexels.com, and in the search place search for example a car, then select whatever you want and open picture in new tab, there the link will begin with images.pexels.com.

this proves that images.pexels.com belongs to the site pexels.com.

Thank you for taking your precious time to my question.

Nobody questions that images.pexels.com belongs to the site pexels.com, but we need docs that prove that owner of the site wants it to be accessed programmatically.

fjl, https://www.pexels.com/api/documentation/ here is the documentation, but you need to log in. if you do not want to log in, I can send screenshots of the site or the text of the documentation.

The only endpoint mentioned in that docs is api.pexels.com

yes- we understand that you can access api.pexels.com programmatically from your screenshot. However, unless we see images.pexels.com as an API endpoint and not as a json response, we won't add it to the whitelist.

I need images.pexels.com to just get an image and that's it. Can you add for this?

Thank you for taking your precious time to my question.

Ok. I have added that to the whitelist.

Thanks a lot

Can you help me adding https://api.freegeoip.app to your whitelist.

Send us a link to the API documentation and we'll consider adding it to the whitelist.
