Hi,

I guess it's not a big deal since the virtual instances are watertight anyway, but I'm curious whether it's a bug or a feature that user directories (at least mine) have write access for the group 'registered_users`.

Any thoughts?

That's a feature. We rely on the fact that we don't even make your user directory available to other users to prevent information leakage.
