CNAME issues

when adding custom domain to here from another provider what should 'CNAME host' be:

either:
www or www.example.com ? this is with GoDaddy

Just www, the rest of the domain is appended by GoDaddy.

ok, sure, I've just done that so will have to wait a while to let it do it's thing

so I have 'name': www and 'value' : webapp-xxxxxx.pythonanywhere.com

hope that's the right way to do it,

will check tomorrow
