whoa guys someone hacked your forum :(

Not really -- some spammer has just decided to keep putting stuff here; they're just signing up and posting in the forums like anyone else might. There are some indications that they might even be doing it manually rather that by using (for example) a Selenium script.

We're not quite sure why they're bothering -- although some of their junk gets through the filters we have in place (we use Akismet), we purge all of it several times a day, so it won't wind up getting indexed by Google, and it's all reported back to Akismet to help them improve their filters. Which means that the spammers are actually making life harder for themselves by doing it here. Every post they make means that the "service" they offer is marked as fraudulent spam by more of the rest of the Internet.
