I am trying to enable browser caching of images and css files to bring up my PageSpeed score. From what I understand, I cannot accomplish this while using the Static Files mapping from the dashboard to serve static files.

Is it possible to serve static files in another way so that I have control over expires caching?

We don't provide cache control configuration for static files at the moment, but we do have a ticket for it and I have upvoted it for you.
