I get that Dropbox folders aren't working. So when can I delete the useless folder?

(My OCD getting the better of me, perhaps, but I don't like broken stuff lying around...)

Unfortunately, your OCD's just going to have to suck it up for the moment ;-) We're working on a plan to retire Dropbox without completely borking things for people that may still be using it. Until we have that finalised and deployed, we're going to leave the folder there to avoid having a "two types of users" situation that could get needlessly complex and messy.
