Console is stuck at "Loading Consoles". The rest of the screen is blank. If I toggle the checkbox "Disable websockets" it momentarily shows "Starting encrypted connection to consoles-2.pythonanywhere.com on port 443", but nothing happens after that.

I am using Safari Version 7.0.3 (9537.75.14), but I have noticed the same problem on Chrome. The problem probably has nothing to do with the browser.

I had killed the console and started a new one, but that did not fix the problem.

Any idea how I can fix the problem ?

Are you behind some kind of firewall? Perhaps a company web proxy? That can cause problems like that. One experiment that might give interesting results is to check the small checkbox at the top right of the console -- that makes it use a slower system to connect to the console server, but one that is more reliable when there's a proxy in the way.
