Plugin error embedding Marvin applet

I through this out for help. I tried several times embedding Marvin applet in an app deployed to pythonanywhere from web2py. It shows plugin error all the time. I don't know if it is the program of web2py. I'm just beginning web development. I install plugin but same problem. I would appreciate any hint about this problem. Thanks

Hi there -- what kind of error are you seeing, and where is the error showing up?

Well a small dialog box pops up with this message "Error: Click for details" When i click on details, another dialog box with message " Application Error" followed by "ClassNotFoundException" XYZApp.class. I'm really stock. My problem is just to create a simple web page with a 3D chemical editor for structure manipulation.

Is this on a page in your web2py web app? If so, can you give a link? (If you'd like to keep it private you can send us a message using the "Send feedback" link at the top of the page.)

Yes on my web2py app page.https://peterweb10.pythonanywhere.com/database/default/index

Thanks! If you look at the "network" page in your browser on that page, you'll see that it's trying to download https://peterweb10.pythonanywhere.com/marvin.js and is getting an error. That script doesn't seem to be set up as a page that your web app can serve. Could you have missed out a step when configuring the plugin?

Thanks for the insight. 1. Do i need to configured my app plugin when using web2py order than the recommended java plugin that i installed on my server. This has been taken my entire time and slows down my research. 2. Is there a way to embed any chemical Editor using web2py withought using html? I have not found any information on that yet.

Not sure, sorry. I reckon the people on the web2py mailing list might be able to help -- here's a link.

Thanks very much

No problem, sorry I couldn't help more!
