I want to use my pythonanywhere site with custom DNS but I c'mon I don't want to generate certificates manually. That's the beuty of Let's Encrypt that you can setup acme-client and you can forget about manualy getting new certificates for you domains. Are you sure the is no way to set up automatic certificates renewal?

We're currently working on a nice UI where you can just click a button and we'll do all of the auto-renewal stuff for you. But in the meantime, you can follow our instructions to get Let's Encrypt set up the first time, and then once you've done that you can use a scheduled task to handle the renewals without needing to do anything manually.
