I have configured MySQL Workbench to connect to MySQL Server on PythonAnywhere as per the documentation. But I am getting tunneling error when I try to connect to the database from MySQL Workbench.

MySQL Configuration: SSH Host Name: ssh.pythonanywhere.com : on Port 22 MySQL Servername: mydentalplan.mysql.pythonanywhere-services.com on port 3306 Username : mydentalplan

When I try to connect, I get a Tunneling error from my localhost to MySQL server Please advise

Are you able to ssh in to PythonAnywhere? If you follow the manual tunnel instructions, does that work?

I am able to SSH into PythonAnywhere using PUTTY and can tunnel into MySql through PUTTY application. it is only when i am doing through MySQL Workbench that generates this error.

I need to resolve this ASAP as it is delaying our development.

I am sending you the screen shots of the images of the Connection Settings and the error when I try to make the connection. Correct username/password are entered at the time of connection. For security reasons I have not shown in the images.

When I click on 'Test Connection' button on the Manage Server Connections screen, I get the following tunneling error; https://mydentalplan.in/MDPError2.png

When I try to make the connection to the MySQL Server, then I get the following tunneling error: https://mydentalplan.in/MDPError.png All the 4 points (listed in the error image) have been verified OK.

Perhaps you may need to specify the default schema (ie. the database) as well.

There is no place to specify default schema in Connection Manager. I am following the steps as specified in Python help on how to connect to MySQL Server on Pythonanywhere from client workbench.
