I get an error 10060, basically access denied. But I believe I have a paid account so shouldn't i be able to access it?

I set them all up, thanks for that. Still could not connect, so no joy.

ok- let's take a step back. does ssh work for you? and do you have anything in your bashrc etc that causes your ssh session to pause and wait for input etc?
