How to download a directory over sftp? I have tried possibly every command (given here: https://superuser.com/questions/40281/how-do-i-get-an-entire-directory-in-sftp) but nothing worked out.
Please provide some help.
P.S: Please also write about download a single file and uploading files.
get -r directoryname works fine. What happens when you try that?
Earlier I was trying to connect it through PyCharm and it was successfully connected thrice. But now it produces some errors. Now I am trying FileZilla, still errors:

It looks like either your network is blocking connections, or that you entered incorrect authentication details too many times and your IP was blocked as a security measure. Wait at least an hour, then try to reconnect and make sure that your password is correct.
