I have a client who has just redirected their domain, www.pawprinttrials.com, to pawprinttrials.pythonanywhere.com, but when I try that address, I get a "Unconfigured Domain" page, saying the website has not been set up. However, I just set it up from the dashboard.

Does this mean that the redirect was done incorrectly, or is it something else?

pawprinttrials.pythonanywhere.com is OK here.

Both look OK to me too -- have you found a fix in the meantime?

Hello, I have a very similar problem.

I have a web developer account and I did the follwing:

• I create a web application, with django (1.6)
• I use domain: www.boniatillo.com
• I have registered in ipage, a domain www.boniatillo.com that points to boniatillo.pythonanywhere.com

So, when I put in the browser www.boniatillo.com I get an error page that says:

Unconfigured Domain This website is hosted by PythonAnywhere, but has not been set up yet.

So I don't know if I have to wait some time to makes PA to configure DNS or if there is something I am doing wrong.

Hello, I fixed the problem. The thing is that I have to create a CNAME alias www to point boiniatillo.pythonanywhere.com. It takes some time in ipage to makes effective the DNS changes, so I think the probelm was in the ipage side.

Thanks for posting that. DNS changes can take a while to propagate whichever company you use -- it's not just ipage, just the way the system works.
