Awww, our forum has it's first bit of spam! I think I should probably leave this here for posterity's sake.

Aw, and here I thought I was going to get an ASCII snake on a shirt... :-)

Hmmm, maybe we should seriously do merchandise :-S

+1 for giving merchandise out to beloved users who do something above and beyond to advance Python Anywhere. You could make it a monthly thing...:)

Of course the traditional merchandise availability could work too.

I want a Python Anywhere Tablet that I can wear like a wrist watch for convenient carrying, but press a button and it grows up to full size when ready to use.

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FUTURE! WHERE IS MY JETPACK?!

Exactly!!

Doing merchandise is seriously simple with CafePress. I'm at MS Tech Ed this week, and favorite-software-tool shirts are everywhere....

We did a test order (some T-shirts for the team here at PythonAnywhere Towers) with Zazzle last week -- if they're any good, we'll stick with them, but if not then CafePress is next on the list :-)

What is the status of this?

Y'know what, we did the team T-shirts and kind of dropped it. Setting everything up for that was really easy, though. I'll put something together ASAP, there's no downside, right?

Not unless al-Qaeda were to decide to make them part of their official uniform...☺

I'd certainly expect some of us to want to brandish them. In fact I think it would go well with one of my favorite drinking appliances.

:-)

I've just tried to set a store up on Zazzle and it's a bit harder than it should be... it might be that the designs are going through some kind of review process, let's see if they pop up tomorrow.

Oh, and here's a rather boring first product, can't seem to add it to the store yet though...

Super, thanks!!

OK, that's a bit better. Now there's a logo T-shirt, which is a bit boring, but also light and dark versions of a T-shirt based on a terrible terrible joke...

Sings

Nothing beats full adders,

Anything in C,

Nothing beats full adders,

Nothing beats full adders to me.

I hadn't seen those lyrics before....funny!

Hm, it's a lot more amusing once you zoom in to see the picture... The only other context I've seen that slogan used in was advocating carrying a gun... (o_O)

Well, presumably there are places in the world where one would feel calmer carrying a gun. But for me, it's easy to panic when adding 1 to 1 in binary.

Binary really turns me one.

Just remember, there are only 10 kinds of people in the world - those that understand binary, and those that don't.

Ah, we should collect these together and write The Bumper Book of Geek Jokes. Of course the biggest geek joke is PHP, but it's in rather poor taste.

What!!!!

I wanted to buy those.

I only come to the PythonAnywhere forums for the product promotions.

Well, you could always buy a PythonAnywhere t-shirt :-)
