How to: SSL for subdomain of already used domain

Hi all,

I have a domain I bought from GoDaddy.

I've sinced changed my name servers to use Wix.com's name servers so I can use their services using my custom domain. Now i'd like to use pythonanywhere to build the app part of my site. I'd like this app to reside @ https://apps.mydomain.com.

Notice the https. I'd like this subdomain/app to be secure.

What exactly do I need to do? When I fill out the domain portions of the configuration methods in this article:https://help.pythonanywhere.com/pages/ZeroSSL/ do I need to use apps.mydomain.com rather than www.mydomain.com?

Please advise and tyia!

You need to use the domain name of the domain that you want the certificate to be for.

Hi Glenn, I am trying to add ssl to blog.turkeet.com that's making my subdomain for https://turkeet.com https://blog.turkeet.com. How do I effect that?

If you have a turkeet.com app on PA already, and you want to host blog.turkeet.com as well, you'd need to create another web app with that subdomain.
